Our Adult Development Programs

Adult Basic Class (Ages 16+)

This is a fun and interactive way to discover archery for the first time. Whether you have shot before, or just getting started, this class is a great place to begin. Certified coaches are there to assist with safety instruction and will introduce you to the National Training System (NTS). This class is open to adults and teenagers over the age of 16. 

The cost of this course includes 6 classes and equipment rental. This class is offered on Wednesdays from 7:45 - 8:45 pm.


Adult Intermediate Class (Ages 18+)

This class is for those who have successfully proven knowledge and comprehension of topics from the Adult Basic Archery class and have shown proficiency in their technique. In this class each archer will continue developing a greater understanding of the shot process and further develop the body control and awareness needed for competitive training. Archers may use their own bows.

The cost of this course includes 6 classes and equipment rental. This class is offered on Tuesdays from 7:15 - 8:45 pm.


Adult Competitive Class (Ages 18+)

After becoming familiar with the National Training System and the requirements of becoming a competitive archer, this class is intended to prepare students with the tools needed to advance in the sport of archery. These tools can help earn you a spot on the Junior Dream Team or the Resident Athlete Program.

Participants will be required to:

  • Be self motivated and responsible

  • Maintain a weekly Training Plan (at least 4 days a week)

  • Complete Weekly Logs

  • Maintain an Athlete Journal

  • Develop a written Goal Worksheet

  • Have no more than one unexcused absence from class

  • Maintain a satisfactory KPI (Key Performance Indicator)

  • Attend at least two sanctioned events per year (at least one state level and one national level event)

  • Have their own equipment

The cost of this course includes 6 classes. This class is offered on Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.

We train athletes in all facets of sport development; technical, tactical, mental, physical, nutritional and lifestyle to mold them into well rounded athletes. Athlete’s Responsibility:

As an athlete of the Easton Foundations Academy you agree to hold yourself to the highest standard of sportsmanship, striving for excellence in training, and being a model athlete on and off the field.

  • Attend at least 5 scheduled lessons

  • Attend regular athlete-coach meetings

  • Turn in assignments, promptly and complete

    • Weekly Training Log

    • Monthly Performance Log

    • Bimonthly Goal Worksheet

    • Pre/Post Performance Review

  • Assist in developing training plan

  • Commit to planned training

    • Physical (2-3 days), Mental (4-6 days), Shooting (4-6 days)

  • Compete regularly, as discussed with coaches

  • Attend quarterly coach-parent-athlete meeting (Adult students)

  • Demonstrate good sportsmanship

  • Maintain an Academy Level KPI

New archers must schedule a preliminary meeting with a coach before enrolling in this class.
