Welcome to the Easton Foundations Athlete Development Program!

The purpose of our program is to inspire and develop the next generation of athletes. With our students' varied goals in mind, we aim to help them succeed in the sport and thrive as individuals. Within our program, we hold three values above all else:

Uniting Archers Through Community – We strive to create a community that gives all athletes the chance to grow, thrive, and pursue their interests. Our program promotes an atmosphere of support between athletes, parents, and the archery community at large.

Inspiring Passion Through Enjoyment – We strive to develop passionate athletes and provide them with new, fun experiences, giving them a chance to flourish and find what they enjoy most about our sport. Passion makes hard work meaningful, a combination we believe is the cornerstone of success.

Bridging Life and Sport – We strive to develop responsibility, discipline, and dedication in our athletes. Our focus extends beyond sports, helping them manage their personal, professional, and academic lives.

Character Development Model

Students progress through our program by mastering key skills and demonstrating character traits that help them succeed on the field and in life. These graduation requirements align with our Character Development model, which guides our coaching philosophy and ensures our students continue to grow at every stage.

Character Achievement Pins

Designed to guide athletes from their earliest experiences, our Character Achievement Pins lay the groundwork for success in archery and beyond. We believe this foundation will help students succeed in their athletic endeavors and get the most out of their archery journey. Each of these achievement pins are required to graduate from the designated class level.

I Am Respectful - Explore Level

Demonstrates consideration towards fellow classmates, coaches, and competitors. Displays appropriate behavior in class, on the shooting line, and during lessons, paying attention to coaches and modeling good sportsmanship.

I Am Responsible - Basic Level

Demonstrates accountability with lessons and skill development. Treats class and personal equipment responsibly, actively participates in their improvement, and regularly seeks feedback to ensure progress.

I Am Involved - Intermediate Level

Demonstrates community engagement with activities outside of regular lessons, including Funtastic Fridays, Club Activities, Tournament 101, competitions, camps, etc.

I Am Disciplined - Competitive Fundamentals Level

Demonstrates intentional effort towards practice and training outside of class, including shooting, mental, physical, and technical training. To be demonstrated by completing weekly log sheets and meeting appropriate Athletic Key Performance Indicator.

I Am Dedicated - Competitive Academy Level

Demonstrates consistent excellence in their athletic training over consecutive months. Must balance their training to include at least 3 days of shooting, mental, physical, and technical training on a regular basis. To be demonstrated by completing weekly log sheets and meeting appropriate Athletic Key Performance Indicator.
